Wat houdt het programma in?

Door direct met de cliënten te starten, besparen we veel tijd. Vanaf dag 1 gaat de cliënt werken aan zijn conditie door middel van een intensief wandelprogramma. Dit loopt gedurende het hele traject door. Hij krijgt een map en wekelijks huiswerk en wordt gericht gecoacht om ook mentaal te herstellen en valkuilen te herkennen. Zodoende krijgt het herstel binnen 12 weken een kickstart en komt hij zelfs stressbestendiger uit het traject, wat terugval voorkomt.

Aanvang herstelprogramma

De cliënt is door langdurige stress fysiek verzwakt. Hierdoor is hij minder stressbestendig. Het eerste dat de coach zal doen is samen met hem een fysiek programma opstarten om het herstel te bespoedigen. Tevens krijgt hij diverse tips o.a. op het gebied van slaap en voeding. Fysiek herstel is een voorwaarde voor mentaal herstel.

Werken aan je kracht

Gelijkopgaand met het fysieke herstel wordt het zelfvertrouwen van de cliënt vergroot. Het is aan de expertise van de coach om daarbij de juiste tools in te zetten. De cliënt hervindt zijn kracht en komt steviger in zijn schoenen te staan.

Stressbestendiger worden

De coach neemt in deze fase de ruimte om uw cliënt te laten nadenken over de oorzaken van zijn burn-out. U wilt natuurlijk niet dat hij na (gedeeltelijke) werkhervatting weer te veel stress ervaart en opnieuw opgebrand raakt. Daarom verschuift de aandacht in deze fase naar het beter leren omgaan met de uitdagingen die de werkomgeving (in ruime zin) aan de cliënt stelt. Het resultaat is een grotere stressbestendigheid.

Verder herstel

Na 3 maanden is de fitheid van de cliënt enorm toegenomen. Niet iedereen is 100% hersteld, maar met de opgedane kennis kan de cliënt zelf doortrainen en zal zijn herstel verder doorzetten. Aanvullend kan met de coach een verlenging worden afgesproken om de vinger aan de pols te houden.

Een zieke cliënt is een grote kostenpost

Een ziektedag kost u honderden euro’s. De ziekteduur van een cliënt met een burn-out is gemiddeld 6 maanden! Bovendien is de client dan vaak wel weer aan het werk, maar nog niet volledig hersteld en voorbereid op de uitdagingen van het werk.
